Presented in the Temerty Theatre on the second floor of the Royal Conservatory of Music, the Saturday March 11 edition of SongBird North features Lorraine Segato, Alex Whorms, and Nefe, three powerful women songwriters, each of whom have a story (or two!) to share. Host Blair Packham plays a few songs, too, and helps guide the proceedings; it is reliably an entertaining evening!

SongBird North is a songwriters-sitting-in-a-row-telling-stories-and-trading-songs concert series that is enjoying its 28th year. Launched by Amy Sky and Marc Jordan in 1995, Blair Packham took over hosting (and producing) duties in 1999. Sponsored by the Songwriters Association of Canada, the show is presented by the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.
